Abiya will remain in her capacity as the Director of the Markaz Resource Center at Stanford. She's also planning on using the dissertation to write a book. We look forward to future collaborations with Abiya and Markaz on campus!

“Forming Iranian Jewish Identities: Education, National Belonging, the Jewish Press, and Integration, 1945-1981”

Daniella will continue her scholarship as the Samuel W. and Goldye Marian Spain Postdoctoral Fellow in Jewish Studies at Rice University.

“Golden Ages: Chassidic Singers and Cantorial Revival in the Digital Era”

Jeremiah will begin two new positions: Associate Researcher at the UCLA Department of Ethnomusicology Lowell Milken Center for Music of American Jewish Experience and Lead Researcher for the Cantorial and Synagogue Music Archive, a new initiative of the Cantors Assembly. He is working on his book, Golden Ages: Chassidic cantors in the digital era, under review at UC Press and looks forward to a month-long weekly residency at Barbes in Brooklyn, Saturday nights in July.

“Performing Intersectional Identities: Four Jewish Women Poets in the 20th Century”

Shoshana will be continuing her position as web editor at the Poetry Foundation, where she recently launched the new Harriet Books, featuring micro-reviews of new and forthcoming poetry collections, with a focus on books from small and independent presses, chapbooks, and poetry in translation. In August, she'll be moving with her family to Los Angeles.

Galit will move on to pursue a PhD in quantum information at MIT.

Sahar will join Goldman Sachs in NY as a Summer Technology Analyst before returning to campus in the fall to finish her masters in Network Security. Sahar worked in the Taube Center office and later received became the Taube Center's undergraduate fellow, managing our social media and bringing great energy to Jewish Studies even when campus was closed! 

Edan will be continuing at Stanford pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mechatronics. 

Stav will pursue her master's in Community Health and Prevention Research in Stanford's Medical School.
